Terms of Service & Refund Policy

1. Who we are

AspiringEdits LLC ("AspiringEdits," "we," "us") is a Delaware limited liability company providing video editing services. By purchasing a plan or submitting an order through aspiringedits.com you agree to these Terms.

2. Subscriptions

Plans (Essential, Standard, Premium, Agency) are billed monthly in advance via Square. Each plan defines the number, length, and turnaround of videos covered in a billing cycle. Unused videos do not roll over.

3. Turnaround

Turnaround times listed on the Pricing page (Essential 5 days, Standard 4 days, Premium 3 days, Agency 48 hours) begin when we have received all footage, references, and notes required to start. Rush Delivery (24 hours) may be purchased at checkout.

4. Revisions

Each plan includes revision rounds (1, 2, 3, or unlimited). A revision is a single round of consolidated, timestamped notes. Additional rounds beyond your plan are billed at a flat per-round rate communicated before work begins.

5. Client materials and ownership

• You retain ownership of the raw footage, audio, and assets you provide.
• Upon full payment, you receive a perpetual license to use the delivered edited video for your own commercial and personal purposes.
• AspiringEdits retains the right to display delivered work as a portfolio sample unless you opt out in writing.
• You represent that you have all rights to the materials you submit. AspiringEdits is not responsible for third-party copyright claims arising from materials you provide.

6. Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; the current cycle remains active.
• If we have not begun editing on a delivered cycle, you may request a full refund of that cycle within 7 days of payment.
• Once editing has begun, refunds are pro-rated based on work completed and are issued at our discretion.
• Add-ons (Rush Delivery, Thumbnails, AI Voiceover, etc.) are non-refundable once production has started.

7. Acceptable use

You may not submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit material. We reserve the right to decline any project at our sole discretion and refund the unused portion of the cycle.

8. Limitation of liability

AspiringEdits is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you to AspiringEdits in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
